The Archive is a valuable tool for organizing your workspace, keeping it clutter-free, and maintaining easy access to old or infrequently used content. In this article, we will explain what the Archive is, how to use it, and how to manage content within it.
What is the Archive?
The Archive is a specific library in the sidebar of your workspace. It serves as a storage space for old videos or folders that aren't frequently used or that you're not ready to delete yet.
It's important to note that the Archive is divided into two sections:
-
Your Personal Archived Videos: These are videos that you have personally chosen to archive. Only you can add or remove videos from your personal archive.
-
Your Team's Archived Videos: These are videos that any team member has chosen to archive. Any member of the team can add or remove videos from the team archive.
How to Archive a Video or Folder
To archive a video or folder, follow these steps:
- Locate the video or folder you wish to archive.
- Select it using the checkbox next to it.
- Once selected, click on the storage or box icon at the bottom of your screen.
Alternatively, you can also archive a video or folder by clicking on the three-dot menu located beside the video or folder. From the dropdown menu, select the storage or box icon. The video or folder will be moved to the Archive.
How to Unarchive a Video or Folder
To unarchive a video or folder, which will move it back to your main workspace, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Archive in the sidebar of your workspace.
- Locate the video or folder you wish to unarchive.
- Select it using the checkbox next to it.
- Once selected, click on the storage or box icon at the bottom of your screen.
Just like archiving, you can also unarchive a video or folder by clicking on the three-dot menu located beside the video or folder. From the dropdown menu, select the storage or box icon. The video or folder will be moved back to your main workspace.
Using the Archive effectively can help keep your workspace clean and organized, making it easier for you and your team to locate and use your videos and folders. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to our support team.
