With Clip Flip, you have two categories of settings: Personal Settings and Workspace Settings.
Personal Settings:
Your personal settings revolve around individual account preferences. Here's what you'll find:
- My Profile: This is where you can:
- Update your profile picture.
- Change your displayed name.
- Change your password.
- View your connected email address.
- Connect or review your linked Google/Facebook accounts.
- Send yourself a reset password link.
- And you have the option to delete your account
- Notifications: Manage your notification preferences here.
Workspace Settings:
Workspace settings pertain to the broader environment you're working within and your subscription. These settings include:
- My Workspace:
- Update or view general information, such as workspace name, number of employees, and, if available, your company website.
- Assign a workspace logo. This is the icon you'll see in the sidebar, helping you distinguish between different workspaces.
- If needed, you have the option to delete your workspace. This action will erase your account along with all the videos contained within it.
- Members:
- View details such as name, date added, email address, and assigned role/permissions of all members in your workspace. For a deeper dive into roles, check out this help desk article.
- Edit member roles, send password reset links, or remove them from the workspace.
- Add or invite new members to the workspace.
- Branding Settings:
- Customize your audience's viewing experience.
- Upload a custom logo and favicon. This branding will be visible on the page where your viewers watch the video.
- Personalize the look of your video player by choosing the color for the timeline and play button.
- Plan and Billing:
- Review details about your user role breakdown.
- See subscription information.
- Choose to shift to annual billing.
- Update your payment method.
- View past invoices.
- And if you ever need to, there's an option to cancel your subscription.
If you don't see all these options, remember that non-administrator/workspace owner roles might have limited visibility, with only the 'members' section visible. For clarity on permissions, consult this help desk article.

We hope this breakdown clarifies the distinction between Personal Settings and Workspace Settings, making your experience smoother and more intuitive.
